IHSA AA Regional @ Sterling  2022    October 22, 2022

Congratulations to Lauren Price and Diana Kalvelage for qualifying for the IHSA AA Sectional meet next week at Kaneland High School.  Sadly, the team was not able to advance from this tough Regional at Hoover Park in Sterling, IL.  I know saying goodbye can be hard so I won’t say it.  What I will say is “Thank you” to our 2 Seniors, Maggie Riley, and Madelyn Weber for their 4 years in the program.  Honestly, I can’t believe they are Seniors.  What happened to the time?  Thank you for your leadership, but more so for being the people you are!  This isn’t goodbye, it’s, “Until we meet again!”  .  As far as the rest of the team, hopefully they are all willing to run it back again next year.  I can’t help but feel there’s some unfinished business the girls need to take care of next season. 

A special thank you goes to Mrs. Benes and the parents who provided wonderful goodie bags for the Team, and the coaches!  It is very appreciated!  Thanks to all of you who supported us this year!  You made things easy.
